Can confirm: Hedon is extremely good. Like a fusion of Doom-style horde-smashing shooting with a bit of Looking Glass inspiration on the level design.

The first episode is mostly linear but the remainder of the game opens up a LOT, with some light RPG elements. Also you play as a barbarian orc lady

The fact that it's an an upward angle and it's the only thing in frame, I'm 100% certain it's on purpose. The game features a bunch of mo-capped handshakes elsewhere, and this one they move the fingers, they're not totally stiff. It's just super weird and strange on purpose I love it.
