when i listened back to the United Convention, i heard the class doing this even on brand new songs that most/all of us were sight-reading. i'm sure Wood Street is safe :)

i think 102 Fulfillment is one of the more obvious ones, but it’s common in plenty of songs (but to some extent regional)

shows half of page 12 of the rudiments from the 2025 Sacred Harp tunebooks, with one sentence highlighted: “Though minor songs in The Sacred Harp are notated using the scale below, singers often traditionally raise the sixth note of the minor scale by a half step, creating a different interval pattern.”

the new rudiments explain this much more clearly than the old ones did
