Casting was mixed. No prob with Pedro Pascal or Ebony Moss-Bachrsch. Vanessa Kirby was a stand-out star performer. Joseph Quinn was either a horrific casting mistake, a terrible writing/directing choice, or all of the above.

We saw "Fantastic Four: First Steps" yesterday, and I generally liked it. I love the 1960s futurism look & feel: huge props to the sets & props team. And it was a good storyline with some minor plot problems, but good character development.

So very butch! 😆

Just got the goddaughter's car back from the garage. The muffler is now attached which we are assured is a Good Thing, and there's a reasonable probability the beast will not burst into flames when she returns to college later this month. 👍

I wonder how many EU enthusiasts have thought through what open migration between Canada & the EU would do to local culture, language, community, etc.. There are positives & negatives, but joining the EU would be a colossal project with impacts far beyond money & trade.
