A social media post from Donald J. Trump on Truth Social, dated July 31, 2025, at 5:29 AM, reads: "Wow! Canada has just announced that it is backing statehood for Palestine. That will make it very hard for us to make a Trade Deal with them. Oh’ Canada!!!"

By trying to bully nations out of recognising Palestine, Trump is making himself the biggest hurdle to a two-state solution and a lasting peace.

The UK must stand strong with Canada and our allies, we should recognise the Palestinian state right now. No more delays.

Liberal Democrats will not stop campaigning until these failing water companies are held properly to account.

I’ve written to the Prime Minister urging him to use Trump’s visit to the UK to push for an end to the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza.

Mass starvation in Gaza and over 1,000 Palestinians killed while seeking aid since May. The government says the situation is intolerable yet they continue to tolerate it.

The UK needs to stop all arms exports to the Israeli Government - today.

Rula Daood, our national co-director, is a Palestinian who lives under the same system that dehumanizes and kills her people, and still, she stood tall in Tel Aviv and said what all of us need to be brave enough to say.

David Lammy must realise that we’re past the point of threatening sanctions.

Every day the Government sits on its hands, more innocent civilians are being killed in Gaza while over a million are at risk of starvation.

Sanctions are needed now, including against Netanyahu.

Time and time again, the Prime Minister says the situation in Gaza is intolerable… but he keeps on tolerating it.

Palestinian statehood was literally in his own manifesto, so why won’t he recognise it now? I wonder if Donald Trump is stopping him.

The world is looking on in horror as Netanyahu's Government plots to lock Gaza's entire population into effectively a giant prison.

The Prime Minister should make it clear that the UK won't stand idly by, starting by sanctioning Netanyahu himself.

On Sunday, Notts FoST held their weekly vigil calling for an end to the killing. 🕊️

The vigil was introduced by Farheen who highlighted our common desperation to see this indiscriminate destruction end.
