Hikari is probably a solid 8 when it comes.

Despite her high profile she grew up learning hunting as a skill and while that life is far behind her now she retained knowledge and skill of staying hidden, even developing it further during her training after being adopted in Hingashi.

Personally I imagine Hikari as a setplay character. Fits her very strategic and tricky fighting style that relies on having the upper hand on her opponent.

Her main job is Dancer after all which fits the style well!

If your wol/oc was in a fighting game, what character achetype would they fill? Are they your more traditional shoto or are they an intricate zoner? Any character specific mechanics or gimmicks you'd imagine they would have?

I always headcanon/see Hikari as still having Viera ears despite her in game appearance being a Miqo'te as she is still a Viera, just one with a few other traits from miqo'te like the tail and shorter height.

If your wol/oc was an RPG party member, what would their constantly repeated combat/exploration voiceline be?

(For example Shulk's "I'm really feeling it", Mona's "woah, looking cool joker" etc.)

Stormblood was REALLY eventful for Hikari!

Biggest moments I can think of for her is finally returning home(Hingashi AND Dalmasca), reuniting with her Dalmascan family after 30 years and having to step up for the sake of her allies and fend off Elidibus Zenos(she usually isn't much of a fighter)

Hikari is incredibly good at keeping secrets and very reliable when it comes to that sort of thing.

Despite how mysterious and sometimes even shady she can be she'll always hold true to her word if someone is able to place their trust in her.

Following post-stormblood with Hikari reuniting with her Dalmascan Family she was able to come to terms with both her new body and herself generally.
(Viera ears and lifespan but Miqo height and tail)

It's actually why she went into Dancer as she gained the confidence to truly embrace herself!

Hikari was fairly self concious of her post life-stream body given how much value she placed in her Viera features as it was the last reminder of her family before she'd been adopted and now she'd essentially lost them
(on the outside at least)

Hikari is autistic!

She struggles with expressing emotions and is well versed in her fields which helps as she's a noble Hingan merchant and being hard to read is perfect for the world of Hingan politics.

At the same time it means she can come off as weirdly intimidating when she doesn't mean to.

"I thought you'd be taller" being the one thing that gets the usually calm and collected Hikari mad.

Started off as a funny one-off thing then I realised it works both in a comedic way and a characterisation way given her whole unintended lifestream appearance change in Heavensward.
