The Once Upon A Christmastime Parade needed a little extra magic to get it mobilized tonight — the very first float broke down and needed to be towed along the route! Not quite a ride evacuation but close enough in coolness factor in my book! 😊

UMass Amherst marching band ready to take its star turn in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade - The Boston Globe Although the band and baton twirlers marched in the parade in 2013, this year, the 21-member dance team will join them on Thanksgiving Day in New York City.

After weeks of rehearsing on a make-believe red star, the Minuteman Marching Band of the University of Massachusetts Amherst is ready to take its spot in the star-studded Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
