I haven’t been impressed by their theming recently and this feels like a rush job. I just worry if this goes south due to them being cheap that we won’t see any dark rides in the future. SeaWorld and Busch gardens could benefit from good family/everyone attractions.

They are only just now clearly ground for this project which means they got like 9-10 months to really get this thing built? Either they are gonna delay this project or it’s gonna be a screenfest with no themeing.

Pandora is one of my favorite lands and it’s sad that Disney hasn’t been upkeeping the plastic plants and water ways like they should. Especially with the third avatar movie coming out you would expect extra attention to that land, not ignoring it.

I wonder how that will work? There really isn’t much space to build a preshow room in front of the theater and they can’t increase the size of the actual theater. Going to be interesting to see how they accomplish it. I just assumed replacing the future scene with him makes the most sense.

Did they announce how long the overlay would be around for?

I’m betting it’s replacing the future scene which I feel is the best way to ensure they can keep the other scenes the same. People can’t relate to the early 20th century but Walt setting the stage is a good way to ensure his attraction lives on.

If This Walt animatronic replaces the future scene for carousel progress… I like it. It will give context to the remaining scenes allowing them to keep them untouched even if no one can personally relate most of those time periods anymore. Walt will bring people in and keep the show around.

Weird cost cutting measure on Disneyland. One of the biggest draws to stay at their more expensive resort is gone and that means people can now stay at non-Disney resorts, save money, and buy the lightning lane themselves.

Pretty decent discount. $8 shirts and $35 dollar spirit jerseys is really nice.
