Last week, UNE members flew to Washington, DC to tell their stories and push back against the life-threatening federal budget cuts. 14 members from across the country were arrested while demanding no cuts to critical housing programs. If they try to cut us out of the budget, we will disrupt them.

Listen as UNE member and small landlord Bev talks about her responsibility as a landlord and the importance of renters protections. When renters and small landlords work hand in hand, we can create communities that value each of us, instead of a world where corporate profit is the only priority.

Earlier this week, UNE members joined @popdemoc.bsky.social in DC. While there, members met with representatives from Colorado, told their stories, and made clear what drastic cuts to housing programs would mean for their communities.

City leaders vow to go after Westminster slum lords Three City council members vowed Wednesday night to do more to go after corporate landlords who delay repairs and otherwise ignore unsafe and dangerous living conditions in their apartment buildings.
