Safe guard critical thinking. If it helps it helps. Some live in quite insufferable close minded communities.

That being said, I do feel humans failed in many respects. Chiefly the realm of empathy. So while I advocate against corporate AI, specifically Google, I see the need of a connection beyond the baggage that comes with humans. That and profit being the base motive for a majority.

Ironically the US gov would produce an evil AI, their goal is surveillance and control.
