I don't know what the sentiment is where you live, but here in the south, most people think that companies are struggling to keep help because no one wants to work.

This is false.

The real reason is corporate greed. They have tripled the workload on current employees and refuse to hire more help.

Walmart has begun terminating employees who are visa holders and have lost their work authorization due to a recent Supreme Court ruling that revoked legal protections for certain migrants. This has led to significant staffing cuts in some stores, particularly in Florida and Texas.
