It's already too late. People need to prepare not for how change what is already on it's way, to preparing how to survive it.

They don't care that the money is spent, they care about whether it not it was their guy. They just want the win, even if they're losing in the end.

That's interesting, ive never heard that. Sounds much more interpersonal from people who don't have an understanding (or just don't care) about the systemic level racism.

My point is more that until its eradicated, white people have an obligation to deconstruct, and applies to all white people.

Just to clarify from my side, I don't think it's natural specifically, as race was created to oppress. The racist structures allow for every white person to have advantages. I could see that the systems teach it.

My learnings about the notion of it being inherent came from people who are not white.

I can't be racist to white people, and the power dynamic doesn't allow for non-white people to be racist to white people, so I don't think it is. Very open to discussion though. 🙂

Also structural functionalism allows for white people to benefit/take advantage of the racist institutions and privelege despite not being directly taught.

Not sure it's necessarily required for acts of racism. Ex, healthcare providers aren't hating a Black person when they perform medical racism, or when the pulse oximeter was developed.

If you mean - because racism was created through hate, and therefore it's intrinsic to racism, I agree.

Racism doesn't require hate, and can be just as damaging in the absence of it as it can with.

All white people are inherently racist. If a white person tells a joke with the n-word, there is not a question as to whether or not they overtly racist, they are.
