It was the Wirecutter suggested camera and brand. That helped me make my decision

I think you are right. I expanded my budget a bit and bought and Olympus EM-10 Mark IV. Decent kit lens and even got a telephoto lens to go with it!

Interesting! I was looking at the Canon Rebel T7 because for the cost of the Nikon 7500 I can have the camera and 4 lenses. Also looking at the Canon R100 for something more modern, although I do love an DSLR, mirrorless feels like it has less soul.

@chrisboese.bsky.social what are you shooting on these days? I just got back into photography and am looking to replace my 18 year old DSLR. Still serves, but only 6 megapixels.

I love them! I just finished a 3 hour Contrapoints video about Twilight that was a complete delight!

It’s important to know that a lot of productive activity is happening in person and offline, too.

Not all of it can be broadcast online, but we’ve had hundreds of people showing up to our trainings, mobilizations, and more.

Keep going. Tyranny is eroded by a sea of small acts. Everything matters.
