When I got my formal Autism diagnosis, I also landed a ADHD diagnosis. The former was 100% not a surprise. The latter kinda threw me.

Today, I started meds for ADHD, and holy crapsnacks, having one thought at a time is f'ing amazing.

So far, I have spent 2.5 hours trying to get my f’ing meds this month. This does not include the 30 minute doctor’s appointments. It’s all been getting my health insurance company to give accurate information to my pharmacy.

It’s laughable that we call this “healthcare.”

I aspire to her level of chill.

A coworker called me out for being inexperienced and uninformed.

I spoke with her in private, providing my credentials and experience.

Her response was to criticize me for not broadcasting my bona fides in my initial communication, because I made her look bad.

No, no… you did that to yourself.
