Classroom censorship doesn't just come in the form of books bans. It's a hostile environment that chills educators to self censor, preventing them from having meaningful conversations with students and creating curriculums that explore diverse perspectives and topics. https://bit.ly/48faZ1V

The number of ICE detainees housed in New Hampshire has doubled compared to six months ago - The Boston Globe The number of people being held in federal immigration custody in New Hampshire has doubled in the past six months, according to the latest data from US Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

The Trump administration’s deportation machine has its claws in the Granite State and we, alongside state and federal lawmakers, must reject and resist its attempts to harm our immigrant communities. https://www.bostonglobe.com/2025/12/01/metro/nh-ice-immigration-detainees-doubled/

After 123 voters turned away at municipal elections, advocates criticize proof-of-citizenship law β€’ New Hampshire Bulletin Since a new law took effect November 2024, New Hampshire voters are required to produce hard copies of citizenship documents the first time they register to vote in the state.

Barriers to the voting booth are unconstitutional and attack one of our most fundamental rights, our right to vote. No matter what, we will continue to fight for Granite Staters' right to vote. https://bit.ly/48rkDOV

NEW: President Trump is asking the Supreme Court to consider birthright citizenship when all of the lower federal courts have unanimously ruled against him.

The 14th Amendment and 125 years of Supreme Court precedent are clear: If you're born on American soil, you are a citizen.

New Hampshire Republican lawmakers propose return of hard labor for people convicted of violent crimes Hard labor could once again be a sentencing option for convicts in New Hampshire as lawmakers plan to debate an amendment later this week that could make serving time a lot tougher for certain inmates...

This proposal isn’t just outdated, cruel, and unnecessary β€” it is also completely out of touch. Hard labor devoids everyone of their basic dignity and human rights and we will be watching as this bill moves through the State House. https://bit.ly/3Lm491s

Today is World Against the Death Penalty Day and public support for the death penalty is falling and the current trend, of a 40 year low in new death sentences, is continuing as fewer juries are handing down death sentences and fewer prosecutors are seeking death.

In 2019, New Hampshire outlawed the death penalty because it was cruel, ineffective, and unpopular among Granite Staters.

So then why are NH lawmakers now trying to revive proposed death penalty bills for the 2026 legislative session?
