Air Transat suspending all flights to U.S. as of this spring Earlier this week, WestJet announced it was cutting service to 10 U.S. cities because of a decline in demand.

After 6 decades, Steve's Music to close most locations in Ontario, Quebec | CBC Accessibility It's been an institution in Ottawa, Toronto and Montreal for decades, but soon Steve's Music will be mostly falling silent — save for one store.

Well this is a bummer. I spent hours in Steve’s in Toronto in the 80s, trying out the guitars. I think of @rogerodonnell.com whenever I pass by on Queen W. End of an era. 😕

1 c soft butter
1 c packed brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
1 cup chocolate chips
(pinch of salt opt)

Mix 1-3 well with a whisk/wooden spoon, mix in flour & salt, then chips, then spread on a cookie sheet or 9x13 pan. Bake at 375 for 20-25 mins. Score/cut while warm. 🤘🏼

I have a 5-ingredient recipe for chocolate chip cookie-bars that you press into a cookie sheet, bake, then cut after. I hide them in the freezer.
