OK, y'all, as I mentioned, I went to see Paul Simon play last night. I found it unexpectedly moving, quite profound actually, and I want to do a short thread about it.

After you flooded their offices with calls and emails, House Republicans ditched a provision in Trump's dirty and dangerous budget bill that would have sold off hundreds of thousands of acres of public lands in Nevada and Utah to help pay for billionaire tax breaks.

And just to be clear: I mean projects under development that would not have commenced construction within 60 days of the law being signed would get crushed... for those who care about the fine print.

The latest Republican plan is killing all clean energy projects *60 days* after their terrible law is enacted. Hard to believe, but the bill got worse... If it passes the Senate, it will jack up energy bills across the country and put hundreds of thousands of people out of work.

While you were sleeping, House Republicans rammed through a bill that kills rooftop solar, clean manufacturing, heat pumps for everyday Americans, clean energy projects, and funding to cut pollution. Now it's up to the Senate to stop this bill from jacking up energy bills and torching the economy.
