We didn't watch that one, but I had teachers who talked about it and the book it's based on.

We watched Skokie (starting my lifelong love of Eli Wallach), and Paul Winfield as MLK, and "Summer of my German Soldier" which we also read.

I just watched this episode a week or so ago. One of my favorites. He often plays creepy or menacing characters. But this one is so genuinely innocent. And without even a touch of silly or daft, as so many others play "innocent". A really remarkable performance.

I agree. But big general declarations like this make it seem like we can't have any direct impact, and we can only declare our values and hope our monolith government agrees.

The 2 things that dramatically changed my body shape:
1. cutting gluten and corn (I shed weight like a german shepherd sheds hair in springtime 👍), and
2. menopause (I lost every fiber of muscle in my body 👎)

#1 also solved a bunch of other aches, pains, and body stuff. But it sucks to have to do.

At least 3 pounds of that is just your courage muscle getting stronger. 💪

But really, I hear ya. I've got an inflammation-prone body, and stress just wreaks havoc.
