I was in school with some first gen Hmong immigrant kids in the 80’s and 90’s. Almost of them were born in the US or have become citizens decades ago. Their kids were all born here. They have paid way more in US and Federal taxes than the ICE agents attempting to arrest them. This is so dumb.

On the cross post to threads, an employee there said this has not been his experience at all and they practice blameless postmortems. So the original comment might have misunderstood or is full of 💩

PS I am the tech lead and I would dominate the leaderboard in prod outages (I have some fun ones 🤣). But we also have a culture of testing and built in safeguards that allow us to recover quickly and fix anything that happens.

This is absolutely a 🤡 take on software engineering and outages. It can take a culture of learning from our mistakes to a one of trying to find scapegoats.
