An artist gifts 1,000 drawings of homes destroyed by fires One artist’s offer to create free portraits of homes destroyed in the Palisades and Eaton Fires generated hundreds of requests.

Bingham started doing these drawings two days after the fires began. She realized she couldn’t afford to donate to all of her friend’s recovery funds. So she put out a call on Instagram asking people to send her pictures of their homes, which she'd draw for free. via @kcrw.com
