Apparently someone called "Jay Marksman trading as GamesMM Studios" is/was selling some sort of asset flip AI versions of popular indie games on Playstation.

This is *not* me. I don't know who they are, and I despise whatever they are trying to do.

It looks like the Playstation Store links for these scam games no longer work, so I guess (hope) the games got removed and the situation is under control now.
Will try to keep my eyes open anyway, just in case.

I honestly know very little about this whole situation.
I have also just moved countries for a full-time job, so I have very little time to investigate.

Any help/info on this would be appreciated.

I would like to think that people who have played my games understand that I have artistic integrity and would never do this in a million years, but not many people have played my games, and googling Jay Marksman leads them to this scam.

I'm not even at endgame and I feel like some bosses are Grimm (from the first game's DLC) level difficult (not a complaint, more of an observation).
I could also just be rusty.

I've heard that the original Hollow Knight is the tutorial for Silksong. That's all well and good, but what if I played the tutorial 3 years ago? 😂

Silksong, I love you, but what the hell is this MMO-ass fetch quest where drops aren't guaranteed and the items I need to gather can drop into lava? 😂

By the way, I can now confirm that this is an acceptable way to spend one's 35th birthday.

I feel like some of the Silksong bosses are as hard as the DLC bosses in the original game, but I can't be sure since it's been so long since I played the original.

I haven't encountered anything I'd describe as unfair so far, but you have to press buttons pretty damn fast in a lot of them.

TGS was fun, though maybe a bit overwhelming going for the first time by myself.
That being said, got to meet a few Japanese YouTubers who played my game earlier this year, which was really cool.
Chatted with a few devs as well, and played a few demos.

TGS/10, would go again.

Is sleeping most of the day, and playing Silksong for the rest, an acceptable way to spend one's 35th birthday?

I'm strongly considering this for tomorrow at the moment.

I just found out I'm going to Tokyo Game Show on Friday.
It's the first major game industry event I'll be attending.

Anything I should be on the lookout for? Any suggestions for games/booths/whatever to check out?

Maybe I'm just old.

I loved my 150 hours of Tekken 8, but I felt I had to play almost every day not to forget my bread and butter combos (not to mention the other characters' moves).

Played through the tutorial of 2XKO and was reminded that fighting games take way too much dedication to even be bad at.

It took a Japanese co-worker's recommendation to make me, a Finnish man, watch one of the most well known Finnish films of recent years (Sisu, 2022).

Certainly not perfect, but great cinematography, music, and of course, action. And a great final scene, which I always appreciate. Glad I watched it.
