There was so much to look at that I couldn’t really take it all in, but the hard work and dedication that go into making an animated movie really shined through.

So many language-oriented YouTubers say that the "point" of language learning is to communicate/talk with people. I kind of hate this sentiment, because different people have different goals.

I think my life has become so much richer just by being able to *understand* English and Japanese.

A little different, but I always find it interesting when I instinctively press the wrong button to do an action in a new game.
It's like "wait, what game does (at least almost) the same thing with this button?" though I rarely figure out which game ingrained that particular association in my brain.

Being able to communicate *can* be the goal (and if I wasn't able to communicate in Japanese, I wouldn't have my current job), but being able to consume media in the original language is an equally valid (and fun) one.

I don't really do New Year's resolutions, but I do have something I definitely want to do this this year: to draw a ~10 page short story comic.

I already have most of the script, and rough drafts for pages 1 and 2 done, so off to a good start ✏️

Currently realizing that 1,5 days is clearly not enough to recover from the jet lag (on top of not being able to sleep on a plane for 13+ hours).

Gotta plan my next trip (whenever that may be) with this in mind.

Finished SANDA season 1.
Interesting worldbuilding, and a unique take on Santa Claus for sure. Tonally a bit all over the place, but that's part of what makes it unique, I think.
Also, the show can get quite serious when it wants/needs to, which I did appreciate. Might jump on to the manga.

Literally the best PvP game I have ever played. Not going to pretend to understand why it didn't get the love it deserved. Just sad to see it end.

Please, somebody take this core movement and combat system and make something with it.

This is *not* me. I don't know who they are, and I despise whatever they are trying to do.

It looks like the Playstation Store links for these scam games no longer work, so I guess (hope) the games got removed and the situation is under control now.
Will try to keep my eyes open anyway, just in case.
