Very much agree, the only problem is that this usually happens to me every Jan-Feb... everything usually starts to go south at Strade Bianche and then gets progressively worse, depending on the level of dominance by Pogi/MvdP

Especially with Pogačar, that man needs to be jinxed as much as possible

Had a look at a Czech online market and you can find some cheaper ones for roughly 80€ but some of them are those that destroy your back tyre over time. Some nicer used ones go for like 200€ and then some guy was offering a really nice one (only used for ~ 20 hrs) for 320€.

Yeah that’s a problem as well 😅 I don’t know if there are any cheap used ones on the internet? Honestly I am not an expert on this at all but maybe this could be the way?

Well you ride faster and don't have to push that many watts but if you continue pushing eventually you get in front of the rider who’s ahead. It has also become easier, a couple of years back it was harder to stay in the slipstream and then they tweaked it.

At least I felt good and didn't have to use others to my advantage and still did a nice effort 😅 but moral of the story, when these sus guys try to catch you, RIDE AWAY 😂 you are not their personal domestique!

Of course he dropped me straight away. But I am no quitter! I survived the 1st steep part and then tried to catch up. I saw his watts dropping and really felt like I could do it. But this damn snake probably noticed and accelerated RIGHT before the finish line and I didn't manage to catch him 🥲

BUT this damn guy just sat on my wheel and turned on the coffee break. It annoyed me that he was like a tail and I tried to drop him but it didn't work. Instead I cooked myself and had no energy for the final KOM. And guess what? That wheelsucker turned the coffee mode off just before the KOM! 😡

So I just finished a ride on Zwift and I am pissed off. I felt really well and I did a nice 22 km ride in Scotland (Tour de Zwift stage 3 cat C). I went into the last 5 km solo, feeling very well. And then a climb started. Just before it an American caught up to me. I was like: Okay, he might help.
