have been writing some pieces about my shelter experiences (tossing around ideas for a substack newsletter), and came across these pics from 15 years ago. This is Milton the monitor lizard. He enjoyed being held for Reiki and TTouch. I also took him for a walk on a leash. Still gives me a smile.

Reiki with lovely Mira at PS9 Pets Brooklyn❤️. In my 1st session with her, I spent a short time. I sat with her and let Reiki flow . In second session, she sat quietly next to me. I was able to do a bit of ttouch. And last week, she started crawling in my lap! Love her!
