I wrote a few pages this morning while taking breaks to do some Christmas decorating. I think I should dig out my old holiday CDs soon to change things up in my stereo system. I’m even incorporating a weird Santa in this story. 🎅🏻 Ho-ho-ho!

This morning’s writing session went pretty well. I remembered to flip my desk calendar over to November and saw I had written a note that a horror mag is open for submissions this month. Sometimes I surprise myself.

My morning walk was nice. I love the fall weather! I'm also loving how my new story is turning out--a space horror.

Read something weird last night. In the TALES FROM THE CRYPT collection I bought, there was an old comic with a German soldier named Hans Gruber. This was published in the 50s and I wonder if it was part inspiration for the DIE HARD character.

I have to recommend this magazine. It was fun learning more about the witch trials and the history of the area. I found it strange how Abigail Williams (one of the original accusers) disappeared and there’s no record of her anywhere after the trials. #Booksky 🧙‍♀️
