There seems to be a sense of timelessness in using a low-end camera from 1962 to shoot scenes like this, which could well be mistaken to be a frame as old as the camera itself.

One of the things unique to Taiwanese baseball culture is the official cheerleading squad of each team, who lead the fans in songs and chants tailored to every single player on the team's roster.

I haven't been taking out my camera much these past few weeks because I've been running, and I've finally managed to reach one of my goals: 5K in under 24:30. Not bad for a 40-something who just began running last year, I think.

We had typhoon-strength winds even here in Taipei for two days. I had to cut my daily evening run short yesterday because I felt I was going to be knocked down by the wind. And the typhoon just brushed off southern Taiwan, I can't imagine what's it's like for those in its path.

While going through my camera collection yesterday, I found an unfinished roll of film that I'd forgotten about in one of my two F4s. Since I was going to develop a batch today, I took out my macro lens and finished off the roll with some of my childhood Lego figures.

Nice you found one in working condition, I don't recall seeing one that still functions here.
Out of curiosity, how rare are CR123 batteries in your neck of the woods? Here in Taiwan, Panasonic-branded CR123 and CR2 batteries are still commonly found in convenience stores everywhere.
