(But itโ€™s not like they randomly selected a month or something. Wasnโ€™t sure but guessed correctly it was Stonewall)

It is a shame they put pride in June though at least for Taiwan visits because it can get hot ๐Ÿฅต luckily, tea shops are stationed every few hundred yards.

(I want to say the correct answer is tourism is better in the South. Taipei may be considered crowded enough already, and the South has a greater need for the tourist spend. But how do the experiences stack up?)

At first thought youโ€™d uploaded the wrong pic. But no, just hard to spot even for someone who know what to look for.

BTW, is tourism better in the southern cities or Taipei? Seems you visited both areas?

If you canโ€™t see it before the current run of showings end, you might not be able to see it in theaters again!

Small and hard to see, spot the logographs to the right of the red characters outlined in yellow on center signage

If it can breach Fordow it can breach Chiashan, and even if China lacks a similar MOAB (and plane) it may be able
to use repeated runs with 5-10K lbs bombs.

Taiwan's new attack submarine ROCS Hai Kun began sea acceptance tests on 6/17, sailing under its own power from the Port of Kaohsiung, southwestern Taiwan, at around 0800.

(A rare instance of an AAPI band with a hit single, โ€œLike a G6โ€ chronicles the struggles of AAPI boys forced to date white women despite having other preferences. G6 refers, here, to the Pontiac G6, a domestic sedan)

I donโ€™t think the West does best when itโ€™s on the backfoot, but I also donโ€™t think Trump left Kananaskis because he was worried Antonio Costa might knee him in the groin at the behest of Ursula von der Leyen.

Was incorrect on point #1. Trade deal incoming due to G7 bonhomie.

Hard to say, but I did see propaganda on the BBC live stream a few days ago after initial strikes and prior to Nantaz being possibly disabled. Iโ€™d leaven positive news for the Jewish people with some degree of skepticism. They canโ€™t breach Fordow.

TBH probably just laughing at the idea that you could wheedle a nuke out of Israel
after having asked for one from Iran. Usually doesnโ€™t happen! I guess youโ€™d just get the Iranian one and leave with a bad impression of Bibi. Very bad?

17.06.2025 01:05 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

C. 1960, sure.

You donโ€™t need me to tell you OP is referencing former
British controlled Palestine, but since Iranโ€™s use of the term โ€œZionist Entityโ€ likely does not map directly to a Western conception of the Westphalian Nation State of Israel (de facto or de jure), unsure whatโ€™s being disparaged.

17.06.2025 00:57 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Wait, are we talking about Israel here or the Zionist Entity?

16.06.2025 03:43 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

*and Iran, perhaps?

16.06.2025 01:43 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Might be a good time for Taiwan to throw its weight behind Israel right about now. Pick up some nuke tech. Or Iran for that matter, I guess.

They do have efficient cows, I mean.

Really, itโ€™s a shame for Taiwan and the rest of the first island chain that Israelis get first dibs on what appears to be rare-on-the-ground kit just because theyโ€™re funny, (often) helpful, personable, generous, smart, innovative, and have efficient cows. Well, maybe not that last one but they do.

15.06.2025 18:28 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

The U.S. would be wise to fulfill its obligations laid out in the Taiwan Relations Act and put paid to the notion that any โ€œTaiwan contingencyโ€ may well simply be the snapping of the Thucydides Trap.

15.06.2025 17:56 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

I donโ€™t think the U.S. has a leg to stand on with its argument that Taiwanese military personnel often turncoat. Bad, late gear from uninterested foreigners who promised in writing to care but donโ€™t doesnโ€™t incentivize fighting for them.

15.06.2025 17:53 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 2    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Clearly, the U.S. has had other priorities and it may be necessary to bribe, cajole, etc. even to get materiel thatโ€™s likely already been paid for delivered.

15.06.2025 17:49 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Iโ€™m just gonna put this out there, but no matter how much โ€˜Bridge Colby might wish it, I donโ€™t think weโ€™re gonna see Israeli levels of military readiness (civilian or otherwise) until and unless good kit that could help stops going to waste bouncing off of Iranian reinforced concrete.
