She is a master artisan. An expert goldsmith who effortlessly picked up blacksmithing, cooking, and alchemy. But she cannot touch a length of wood without it launching splinters at her. She is supernaturally awful at carpentry. Thankfully she has a friend she can call when woodworking is threatened.

This is a set plot point in Khona’s canon post-6.0. That recovery period is defined by the overwhelming emotions she experiences as a result of having pushed everything down for the “sake of the star.” Hades speaking bluntly of the “horrific” things she feels so awful about helps her work through it

Khona’s recovery post-6.0 finally allowed her to digest all she’d gone through since before arriving on the First. Including all that *Emet Selch* had gone through. The unfathomable weight of it all crushed her. How could she want for that which destroys so much of oneself?

Khona heavily favors the Dark Arts/darkness and the greatsword. Meanwhile Hecate/Azem’s life was defined by her affinity for fire magicks as a mage.

(At ~lvl77 MSQ) Hades learned that Khona had that same affinity, she just never had a mentor who could help her learn to control and safely wield it.

100% a tamagotchi.

she’d go through phases of keeping up with it and then not touching it for months. first time she finds a dead tama she is so disappointed! after that, when Khona goes a while without caring for it Hythlodaeus maintains it just enough so it won’t die.

- a proper talking/conversing emote that isn’t waving around arms and leaning forward
- so so many more job-specific weapon emotes
- cats cradle idle (the loop of string u make patterns with between ur fingers)
- a gentle/subtle smile emote

well and truly this I have never read an address from yoshi P that read more like "if you guys would kindly shut the fuck up and keep things to yourselves we won't have to have this conversation again" which is a significantly softer line than I ever expected when addressing modding

It'd be really funny if someone created a required click-thru window on any of those mods that said "UNDERSTAND THAT YOU SHOULD KEEP THESE THINGS A SECRET" in red, and at the bottom is the "Accept" button and it does this everytime you log in.

DRG Khona = Pace, she is precise in managing her stamina.
DRK Khona = End, she’s got crazy power AND a debuff build!! She ‘murmurs’ at her enemies :)

Her “artisan” friend group has a carpenter friend who is quieter than the rest of them but when he does speak up it’s always funny. She learned early on that he is not at all reserved in written word so she began exchanging letters with him, even when in town. His notes always brighten her day

As a lancer she was ~lvl43 when she joined the Scions. She often sought out the B-rank hunts posted by the Immortal Flames, though commonly hunted alongside a friend or two.

Magical skill, though… She paused her BLM training once her strong, unmanageable affinity for fire nearly killed her.
