I presented part of my research during a panel on #DigitalTransition: Governance and Services.

My presentation focused on a theoretical analysis of #regulatorysandbox mechanisms - which are experimental tools for regulation of #innovation.

Between discussions on Pierre Bourdieu, Bruno Latour, Gilles Deleuze, and Michel Foucault, we had many opportunities for enriching exchanges.

These moments made the event unique and brought me back to my undergraduate days in Political Science.

#DigitalSovereignty will become increasingly important in tech policy debate in next years. Two early indicators:
(1) Election of Donald #Trump as #POTUS, overtly protectionist.
(2) Next #EU #Commissioner in charge of DG CNECT and DG DIGIT will be EVP for #TechSovereignty, Security and Democracy.

After Donald #Trump ‘s re-election to the White House, it will be interesting to see how global governance on #AI (and #digitalsovereignty) will evolve.

Remembering the Clean Path Initiative of some years ago, it does not look like it will be aimed at cooperation.
