Isn't this 2024 article inapposite at least in part, as it addresses opinion pieces by some who may be writing with more passion than information? I don't know that the recent statements have the same flavor. The bottom line is the administration's response was outrageous.

It also makes many feel good to explain in the most irritating yet simultaneously enervating way why people are wrong not to like their candidate. This is said by no one to be a great, proven method to make those people rally to the candidate's side.

We saw Devo and the Dead Kennedys earlier this year, and B-52s (whom I saw decades back) last year. All were awesome, and my girlfriend would never have had "slam dance to 'Police Truck'" on her bingo card so that was a nice surprise.

I've been to just one full Orthodox service, but it was Easter 1992 in Moscow. It was hugely moving. And this cultural Catholic found the standing and the extended length quite satisfying.
