I'm not mad that my dad had those opportunities and that privilege (and obviously I benefitted from it); I'm mad that I can't even survive when I work harder and more hours than he did, my job itself is harder, (no offense dad), and painters usually make more.

I'm an extremely skilled painter with immense experience, and some of that experience is like, top-notch, richest people in the world, quality experience, and I can't even make rent most months.

Point is I should make way more than my did dad and I'm not even close. I hate it here.

Fucked up that at my age, my dad had 4 kids, built our house on the property he bought, had a nice truck for himself and a nice car for my stepmom, and still had enough money for his hobbies, our hobbies, to take us out of state for vacations, etc. all from a carpenter's wage.
