Men are both protectors and predators. The job of women is to tell them apart and act accordingly, not getting this right means she's to blame, goes the narrative - that needs to be changed.

The problem I have is not so much fear of violence for being trans, it's that I have no confidence in being treated fairly by the police and justice system, as the law is now on the side of anti-trans bad actors, afaic.
