You see how they are treating people in Chicago? Evening raids of entire apartment complexes? Kids thrown into vans naked and cuffed?

What the hell are we doing?!?!

No conflict has ever been won without sacrifice.

If we do not put skin in the game, we are doomed to fascism.

If we do not general strike, none of us will be free.

What good is your job, health insurance, and roof over your head if you're in a concentration camp?

When the author of On Tyranny is concerned.... I think it's time we should consider what legitimate peaceful options we have left to shut down the country. We are running out of time.

Well, if the government shuts down on October 1..... why don't we also just shut down the country with a general strike? If we don't move soon, we will miss our opportunity.

When this finally breaks, and we find ourselves facing the biggest threat to our life and liberty in over 80 years... you'll wish we had mobilized sooner.

We will not defeat fascism without personal sacrifice, or putting our own skin in the game.

A general strike is our best option for a non-violent victory, but we must be ready to sacrifice.

I am insulin dependent, I rely on my insurance to keep me alive.

I’m ready to sacrifice that for liberty.

As things continue to accelerate in the United States, we must be prepared to grind the economy to a halt. It is our biggest non-violent weapon, we must be ready to wield it. If we can make ABC second guess their decisions… imagine if every employer lost half their workforce.

The right wing spin on this is wild... they are literally telling their base that it was not the FCC threat that caused the firing, but that his ratings were bad, and they are lapping it up. They are intentionally destroying our ability to message resistance effectively.

The pace at which they are moving is suggestive that they have accelerated their timeline. If anyone believes that we can vote our way out of this scenario, you still have your head in the sand. Fascism is here, and if we don't get in the streets, it'll be around for a long time.
