Thank you, Eric. Each panel only shows the publishers that have been part of the "top 5" at some point during this period, according to each database.

How do we know this? Because (rather) inclusive databases such as @dimensions.ai and #OpenAlex provide a more complete image of what is out there, compared to the restrictive Web of Science.

A new view of the state of the scholarly publishing oligopoly: doi.org/10.1371/jour... Considering journals and papers published, big publishers have been losing ground, as many independent journals have been created, especially since 2000. With @juancommander.scholcommlab.ca @lariviev.bsky.social

Cultivez votre savoir
Découvrez nos collections de documents en sciences humaines et sociales : revues, livres et actes, thèses, rapports de recherche.
This is common for book reviews, the titles of which often include the title of the book reviewed. I have seen this frequently for content on erudit.org. It has nothing to do with questionable practice.

Here is Earth's rotation realized in an unusual way: using a camera scanning the landscape of Tivoli, Namibia, Bartosz Wojczyński focused on the sky.
He created a timelapse spanning 24 h that has a focal point in the sky rather than on the ground.

Latin American journals are open-access pioneers. Now, they need an audience
SciElo, other platforms work to help journals reach readers around the world
On the visibility of (diamond OA). This is a great piece, which refers to DOAJ as a reference for OA. Yet even DOAJ is somewhat exclusive. For example, only about a quarter of 'serious' Canadian Diamond OA journals are in DOAJ. www.science.org/content/arti...
