Two shiny metal teaspoons. The top one longer and bigger by a few centimetres. Top one’s handle is slightly tapered and curved from a wider flat handle end to the neck of the spoon. The bottom one has a rounded end at the handles and the handle is textured. Texture appears to imitate tool marks as if patterned dents from a jewellers ball-peen hammer. The handle is twisted and looped to the right before twisted again so the spoon end is facing the right direction. This creates a loop that will allow for the spoon to rest on cup lip edges. Both spoons have a mirror finish to the spoon end.

Some general information on what it means to be transgender from a neutral Canadian education source. Yes it is very basic but its neutrality is key. I like using it as the resource for where I’m living as it’s harder to accuse it of being a “trans propaganda”. Anyone have other websites they like?

First I am not drastically dysphoric by some bits being on the femme to non-binary spectrum (not that I wouldn’t change with a magic snap if I could). Second I have other underlying health conditions such as EDS that makes an intensive surgery even higher risk with other complications.

Medically I am taking feminizing hormones as of April 2024 and when I can remember I am practicing some vocal feminization as testosterone has permanently changed my vocal structures. Surgeries are not quite on the table for two reasons.

Legally I am Non-Binary or “X” as of April 2025 (or “unknown” as per how some of the current databases operate to work around the M/F binary despite it being a recognized identifier in Canada for 6 years now).

Socially I am Transfemme. This means I present and I am transitioning to look more feminine. I am in the spectrum of non-binary to feminine. I don’t mind if I am not purely “female” because I am comfortable with this range for my happiness.

Clearing up some identifiers because I think there still needs to be more awareness on the spectrum of things instead of binary. So here is the rundown of my Social/Legal/Medical transition and why I am using They/Them and She/Her type pronouns. 🧵

Had my first right of passage today as a trans person; a person very confused and offended that they couldn’t tell my gender. Then got hyper upset at they them pronouns. I mean I’m glad I’m closer to that tipping point in my journey? 😆
