Important to call lies out when there are lies. These are lies from a liar.

Purpose-built rentals are best. 2/2
Lifelong Toronto renter here. Investors will squeeze tenants & exploit every law to maximize profits.
We will never rent from a private person again after 2 evictions so house could be sold. Already would never rent a condo; they aren't set up to maintain as rentals & can also be sold. 1/2
Yeah, because we know how well the private sector can build and maintain transit here in Toronto
26.02.2026 19:35 โ ๐ 12 ๐ 2 ๐ฌ 3 ๐ 0Text explaining how there isnโt a war on cars, with all the benefits of reallocating street space to move a lot more people with a lot less space and other consequences, including life and death, pollution/emissions, public and personal costs, etc. Providing more choices works better for everyone, including drivers. And more transportation choices support the economic competitiveness of cities, as smart cities know.
Iโm not a fan of politicians trying to make people angry for votes by claiming there actually IS a โwar on carsโ (there isnโt โ if anything thereโs been a war on every OTHER way of getting around since the 1960s).
A politician just made the claim on LinkedIn. Hereโs the reply I posted. #UrbanTruth
Flooding, unstable foundations, toxic chemicals in the groundwater, and next to a provincially significant environmental area. Sounds like people shouldn't live there. Oh, what's that? The people submitting this think *they* should live there, just not a TCHC building. Who could have guessed?

There were reserved Rogers/Tory seats 4 him at back but Tory came in, walked down the left side of giant room, across the front by stage, then up middle to seat. All to show he was there.
