I'm a law guy, not a politics knower, but "Trump illegally taxed/stole $175 billion from Americans" seems like good messaging.

Trump abused his authority. The power of the purse doesn’t belong to one person — tariffs are a tax, and any decision to levy the American people must be made by Congress alone. It wasn’t here, and working families paid the price.

The federal government must return the money it stole to the people.
