N-word usage***

I always found the b-word usage awkward, but on that track, it’s pretty clearly done to mock elitism responses to civil unrest. Very reminiscent of what Dire Straits did with homophobia on Money for Nothing. But POV lyric writing always walks a fine-line… There’s a right and wrong way to do it.

But if you're gonna alter the lyrics to take a shot at Vance, then I'm in agreement: get rid of that slur.

I'm of two minds about it...
The original lyric is an in-story allusion to ignorant suburban views about ADHD and other neurodivergent conditions from the time. If they're gonna do the song straight, I'm cool with them using the r-word (they did something similar with the n-word on the next album).

You rate this on production value alone? It’s probably among the very best.

Bad Bunny did pretty good, think the production as a whole outshone him though. I’m sure he had extensive creative input, but I was paying more attention to the dancers and sets than him.

Nah, he’s got a 74.0 receiving grade (37.8 pass-blocking grade though).
