I was 5 years old watching my older brother play Final Fantasy 1. Seeing all the monsters and maps made video games seem limitless.

Shadows of the Empire was janky as shit but we loved it. Frustrating and challenging but always interesting. The gameplay varied from figuring out the fiddly tow cables to flying around fighting boba fett with your trusty jetpack.
