Astrophotography of the Pleiades
Astrophotography of the Pleiades
Another rework, Pleiades with the brand new Pixinsight 1.9.0 Lockhart <3 the new MultiscaleGradientCorrection is really cool. Anyway i don't recall anything about acquisition data sorry, only that it was in 2021, second picture is the "original".

Astrophotography of M51 the Whirlpool Galaxy
Astrophotography of M51 the Whirlpool Galaxy
I present you one of my first LRGB attempt, M51, with a quick rework on pixinsight, 2nd picture is my "original".
I find both ugly but it shows how processing can really make the difference.
Originals files were full of noise and only kept LRGB masters to work on.

Here is a new take on my Heart nebula, IC 1805. Same old data reworked with some new pixinsight tools and knowledge.

10 days late to the party.
10 days of Fkin bad weather every single night.
Still manage to have my own memory of it.

Astrophotography of NGC 7822
NGC 7822 from France, ~10hours of acquisition, the weather wasn't great, lots of humidity and light pollution but a rare occurrence of 3 clear nightsky in a row, had to try ! Managed to get this ;)

Astrophotography of the sun, featuring huge sunspot

Astrophotography of the Pelican Nebula, also known as IC 5070
Depending of your time zone this is my last post, or the first one of the year.
Anyway happy new year, here is the Pelican Nebula IC 5070 ~11h SHO May 2023.
I almost have posted everything i shot the last few years, gonna need some clear night skies to bring you new pictures !

Astrophotography of NGC 896, it's a part of a larger one, the heart nebula ic 1805
One of my first narrowband photography, NGC 896, it's a part of the Heart nebula IC1805. Acquisition was with my previous telescope (SW 150/750), if you look at my first post you'll see the "whole" Heart nebula that i took with another telescope that have a larger FOV (WO Zenithstar 81).

Really disappointed with this (Orion nebula, M42) a narrowband acquisition mid november 2020 before upgrading my telescope, almost deleted everything with this washed out center (go see my previous M42 take...)
But live and learn as they say, processed it as good as i could, till the next take !

The andromeda galaxy
The andromeda galaxy
Here are two of my shots of the Andromeda galaxy :
First one is from narrowband, galaxies are not suited for NB imaging, it was a test in a high light polluted area with 11h30 of acquisition.
2nd one is a long exposure (3min) with a DSLR in a less light polluted area.
