It's time for massive, peaceful protests.

The crisis is that the R-controlled Congress has abdicated its Article 1 responsibilities of oversight and accountability. In order to reign it all in, it's now less about Trump's overreach and more about Congress' refusal to do its job. 2026 elections will be crucial to reversing this problem.

Progressives like tariffs/subsidies for favored industries. So does Trump. Prog's like federally directed, one size fits all solutions vs. local/state control. Ditto Trump. His aims are not progressive, for sure, but his means are coercive. So can be progressivism.

It won't compute for them that progressives are suddenly on their side, which is also Trump's side, and their heads will explode. The us vs. them framing will collapse.
