I think youβre overestimating his mental capacity.

09.08.2025 05:31 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I think heβs worth a loan to a club in Italy where heβs the guaranteed starter and can get his confidence back rather than cutting bait on him right now.

06.08.2025 08:34 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Since joining us his body breaks down in a week no matter where he plays
Iβm not being serious, just underlining how ill-suited this version of Case is to the tempo of the prem
Iβd play Mount there ahead of him - at least the boy has legs
04.08.2025 14:45 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Sure, I just mean that if we canβt shift his Β£350k p/w wage that heβs probably better deployed at the back than expected to do any actual running in midfield.
Ideally someone in Saudi would quietly slide a cheque across the table for him.
And Case would be better off at CB than CM in the prem these days
04.08.2025 13:07 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0The problem is that with the new signings Bruno isnβt playing much if at all at 10 and is now a full time CM. And for all his immense quality, playing him deep creates an imbalanced midfield which is easily overloaded and overrun on defence.
Ederson or similar should be an absolute priority.
Also a question of balance - Bruno, Kobbie and Case (now that his legs have gone) are effectively all competing for one βplaymakerβ spot and leaving Ugarte - who isnβt wildly suited to the role - as the lone/sole βathleticβ spot. Urgently needs reinforcement.
04.08.2025 08:25 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Yea, Bruno as a deeper playmaker gives us lots of options going forward but his CM play is - as you say - also a liability at times. Covering for him requires a rapid partner that can get up and down the pitch.
04.08.2025 08:12 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Cunha - Sesko - Mbeumo is a helluva forward line but without a new midfielder we are going to continue to get slaughtered on defence (particularly in transition)
04.08.2025 01:54 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0βSeskoβs Leipzig deal runs until 2029, having signed a new contract last year. When he signed that new deal, it came with the understanding that if an elite club β by his definition β offered in the region of β¬80m-β¬90m (Β£69m to Β£78m), Leipzig would allow him to leave.β

I thought he wanted United, Jan.

03.08.2025 09:48 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Yea, I was saying similar yesterday - The Athletic have said his book value is β¬45m so if we sold him for Β£30m it would make our bad PSR situation immediately worse.
Would be far better to loan him out and sell him for once weβve amortised an additional year.
Happy birthday mate
03.08.2025 09:35 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0With the PSR/FFP pressure thereβs zero chance we sell for an accounting knock like that, sell on or no. Loan with option gives us the chance to amortise an additional year and make it work.
