The Skeleton Panda Sea Squirt (Clavelina Ossipandae) is a translucent reef-dwelling creature whose rib-like structures and panda-like markings give it a spooky, animated look. Found in Southeast Asia, it harmlessly filters seawater and helps keep coral ecosystems healthy.

Color photograph of Jennifer Doudna, the Nobel Prize-winning biochemist (2020 Chemistry Nobel, shared with Emmanuelle Charpentier for co-inventing CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing technology). She's a professor at UC Berkeley, a pioneer in molecular biology, and one of the most influential scientists alive today. The portrait captures her in a more recent, casual style: shoulder-length silver-gray hair, bright blue eyes, warm smile, wearing small pearl earrings and a textured maroon/reddish-brown zip-up jacket over a lighter top, set against a plain light gray background.
The first all-female team to share a Nobel Prize in science: biochemists Jennifer Doudna & Emmanuelle Charpentier.
They won the 2020 #Nobel Prize in #Chemistry "for the development of a method for genome editing (CRISPR-Cas9)." Jennifer Doudna was born #OTD in 1964.

They could ignore the sex with trafficked young women, but when it came out he was sharing state secrets, they had no choice but to throw him under a bus.
Fact is, that the royals are all a bunch of self-serving parasites on the public purse. Always have been.
Abolish the monarchy now.
He's such a cute dog.

This local Wolfdog joined an Olympic ski event and triggered the finish-line camera. This is Nazgul. He snuck into a cross-country skiing sprint this morning and raced the homestretch with some competitors before being escorted home. 14/10 someone get him a medal
18.02.2026 17:48 โ ๐ 23222 ๐ 4962 ๐ฌ 476 ๐ 623I have four new #cannabis cultivars ready for 2026: Aix Dream Tangerine (Tangerine Sorbet), Aix Dream Dos-si-Dos (Dos-si-Dos 33), Space Glue (Gorilla Glue/Chocoalte Diesel X Aix) & Aix Dream Blue (Blueberry x Gelato 33 x Aix Dream).
All are regular seeds.
As with many right-wing administrations worldwide, #cannabis is illegal in #Hungary, but #alcohol is promoted.
This makes no sense, which is what we've come to expect from Viktor Orban and co.

Cannabis is good for you, especially when it comes to tackling alcohol addiction. Never mix cannabis with alcohol as this can lead to vomiting, especially when you consume cannabis after having drunk too much alcohol.
I stopped drinking completely after 40 years with the help of cannabis.
This us a brilliant bit of activism

Aix Dream is very much like Zkittlez which is a wonderfully fruity & a fairly potent high. It's much like White Widow which was a component of the male plant it came from.
I was searching for a new cultivar that grows fast & easily as well as being genetically stable. I was lucky. No hermies!
The decision to proscribe Palestinian Action by Keir Starmer shows he is unfit to be Prime Minister of Britain.

I woke one night to an army of huge red land crabs scuttling under our hut to get to the sea. There were millions of them. That was most freaky.
One of my best cultivars to date.
Originally named Space Aix, I renamed it Aix Dream.
Aix la Chapelle is where I live, hence the name.

Here's a Wappa bud.
Making new cultivars is easy. First you need regular seeds. Take the best male of the grow and plant it far away from your females. Collect the pollen and sprinkle some on one bud, marking it so you know which one is going to be full of seeds.

Here's a Wappa I grew a few years ago.
I always use organic soil but add some PK fertiliser as the plants start really flowering.
Worst grow ever was with Miracle grow, which turned my Cheese plants into hermies.

I would say his books on linguistics and language are excellent (laced with humour).
His books on writing style (not prescriptivist) and critical thinking are concise and readable.
Better Angels of our Nature is a good book on long-term trends, but spoiled by some of the C20 chaptersโฆ
I've often wondered how Steven Pinker's amazingly sloppy research and baseless claims* have for so long received a free pass. I wonder whether it could have something to do with a. his connections with the rich and powerful; b. his claims often aligning with what they want to hear.
*See next post.
I've been testing Tangerine Sorbet from Paradise Seeds, which is their successor to Wappa.
Just germinated some seeds I created from this cultivar. I named it Aix Dream Tangerine.
