One of the greatest perks for a reader is having a character relive that childhood trauma... but this time see it finally be resolved, dealt with, and moved on from through the love of a partner who cares what the love of their life has gone through enough to see them through it to the other side.

Thank you. 💖 I've started on the pain management protocol since the opioid problem it's necessary to get anything really strong (& helpful). It's glorified aspirin but at least stronger than OTC, which I'm eating like candy. Add PT & back brace - it will be dealt with; have to get to that point.

I'm at level 10 which is considered by the docs here in the USA as max. Their scale doesn't go higher, believe me. Mine does. I'm surviving. It's the frustration of going from walking normally but slowly I am after all old. To needing a cane and crawling down the halls in 2 days. Weird.

I should, but I have so many arcs due right now that I'll pick it up when it releases. But thanks for the offer. Just discovered I have a compression fracture of the spine, I'm barely getting those arcs read in time! So, I'll wait for now. But I want that one when it is released 😘

I was sorry to see Nan Reinhardt's The Weaver Sisters come to its conclusion. Christmas in River's Edge is well-written, realistic, romantic, and such a delight. I will miss this world, but I loved all the folks I met within it.

I've had 2 black cats, Sam & Thunder. Sam was pure black except for a barely there white-haired necklace. Thunder was long-haired, pure black when viewed from above - if he flipped on his back, he had perfectly formed patches of white hair in the (I kid you not) white bikini on his underside. :)
