SUNDAY MORNING Sunday Morning, 2019, 06:04 minutes, single channel video for projection. Portrait oriented images of a blank journal are marked by the sun casting variations of shadow forms. CISTERN CAPSULA: CISTERNS, 2017, Film exposures arranged as a horizontal monolith. Photography and subjectivity are seemingly inseparable, and the question of using the image as a document or proof of interior experiences contains slippages drawing lines between narratives and proof. Memoria Technica MEMORIA TECHNICA, 2015 - 2017, series of monolithic images. Analogue film exposures, scanned and digitally manipulated. Archival ink print by architectural plotter on vellum, a material that yellows and the back ink tends to turn red. The vertical landscape mirrors the human body and four major seasons. Referencing the nature of breathing, the panels are displayed as framed scrolls. Reminiscent of medical magnetic resonance imaging, the reflected and refracted rays of the mirrored landscape forms negative and positive curvatures filled and hollowed by a translation of the paradoxically tactile and ineffible qualities associated with the passage of time.
