They also confirmed that the fan in the dock only cools down the dock itself. It’s purpose is not to cool the system down. The Switch 2 itself has its own fan.

Nintendo showed off the Switch 2 dock on the Nintendo Today app. Not much different from the Switch 1. Still 2 USB ports. You will be able to plug in the GameCube Adapter into it and use GC Controllers for Nintendo GameCube - Nintendo Classics(NSO+Expansion Pack)
