I love D&D but I can’t keep doing this playing until 11pm thing. I don’t get to sleep until 2-3am and then I can hardly function the next day. I need to go back to playing marathon sessions on weekends instead of short sessions on weeknights.

Pretty proud of how much my reading speed for non-fiction has increased this year. I used to read SO SLOWLY if there wasn’t a gripping plot, but I’ve gotten much better!! I just read a whole 70 pages of a new-to-me non-fiction book today, and last year I would struggle to read 4-10 pages a day.

Latest attempt to pump myself up for the day included creating a 7hr playlist I called “Morning Dance Party” and just my favorite upbeat music from throughout my life.

This crash out brought to you by me finally watching Dani & Jared’s fireside chat on Beacon (Critical Role). And also my deep adoration for Blackwater D&D and all the lore keeping I’ve been wanting to do for them (I’m already in their walls).

Part of me will always be feral about lorekeeping/note taking for D&D campaigns.

The rest of me is crying at the idea of even considering thinking about anything but sleep and recovering from the last month of back-to-back extra hours at work for back-to-school prep.
