Honest to God, who cares?
Labour lost the next election 3 years ago, when they got into bed with big business. Anything else is just drama.

A bit like Brexit really? Everything will be fine, until it isn't.
The problem was never really trade agreements, which increased wealth and GDP.
It's always been that workers get cut out of the benefits of said growth and wealth.

Economics.
The world is going to sh*t because the rich are taking everything, money, shelter, land, energy, food and water.
Maybe time to elect better politicians eh?

Robbie Gibb should have been ruled out of the running for the BBC Board in 2021: it was clear he'd been closely involved in setting up GB News - an ideological project aiming to rival to the BBC, & therefore a clear conflict of interest. The fact he was still allowed to join always rang alarm bells.

Yes? Because democracy over algorithms worked. The whole kerfuffle over benefits, do you know about this?

I saw a thing on QI. I hope I'm remembering this correctly?
Replacements of CEOs only resulted in increased profits in less than 3% of changes?

What really fills me with dread is that every instance of this isn't met immediately by an armed crowd chasing off the secret police. For every video of ICE/CBP being confronted, there are more where bystanders just evaporate. That has to change.

Rupert Murdoch who has basically been in control of the UK for 46 years, since he got Margaret Thatcher into power.

Tells you that actually he is doing a good job and the Green Party is bad.

Poor old Rupert is scared he will lose control.

I was the youngest member of staff at my job. The conversation at a meeting, (for a work related reason) turned to shoplifting when young, every one of them had knicked stuff.
I'd never taken so much as a penny chew, I was too shocked by the casual criminality of my superiors to express my disgust.

The Autumn Budget should declare an Australia-style โ€˜war on billsโ€™, says the progressive IPPR think tank today.

The major fiscal event must put the cost of living at heart of governmentโ€™s agenda, moving beyond the โ€˜black holeโ€™ IPPR argues, saying food & energy prices should be top priorities.

Police seized a Tesla Cybertruck being driven illegally in the UK Tesla's Cybertruck is not permitted on British roads and police said there were "legitimate concerns" for the safety of other road users.

Hard to believe that some nob tried to import a CyberYuck to the UK earlier this year.

"..legitimate concerns exist around the safety of other road users or pedestrians if they were involved in a collision with a Cybertruck," police said."

What if the truth finally broke through Trumpโ€™s bubble โ€” on Fox News of all places? During a rally, Trump bragged that prices were โ€œdown significantly.โ€ Seconds later, Fox aired a chart showing the opposite: coffee up nearly 19%, utilities up 12%, electricity up 5%, and vehicle repairs up 11%.

How Palantir infiltrated the state At a moment of national emergency, the government handed our data to Peter Thielโ€™s controversial company

I'm afraid they weren't informed. The present government understood this, which is why they originally supported restoration.
It literally applies to one cohort of women only. After them, it became more widely known. The point is they had no time to sort this out.

Over the years social housing stock has been sold, real wages cut, profiteering unchecked, local council funding cut.

Liverpool has 12,764 households on its social housing waiting list. It has just five "additional social rent dwellings".

What is the govt doing?
