25.11.2025 20:09 — 👍 213 🔁 103 💬 19 📌 4The most perverse thing about the fuel duty freeze is it has repeatedly - by removing investment in alternatives to the failing model of cars in busy cities - failed to make transport faster, cheaper or easier.
And despite the political debate on it, people still think fuel is too expensive.
The @saveoursaferstreets.org community team is appealing the results of the judicial review on Tower Hamlets decision to remove the liveable streets measures in Bethnal Green.
Keeping everything crossed for them. 🤞

Are you a supportive mum, dad, aunt, uncle, sibling, grandparent, extended family member, friend, neighbour, work colleague of a trans person?
Take a look at the Transparent Pledge and help Transparent Action grow.
Yes. Casual lazy misogyny last week and it needs calling out. The rules are complicated so you have to be prepared and ready to intervene. I will be, going forward.
22.11.2025 11:14 — 👍 4 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0I was literally thinking after Mayor’s Questiontime last week that I must look up the standing orders that would allow a challenge to any member talking about “Rachel from accounts”. It’s misogynist, deliberately disrespectful and never necessary to make their point.

Good to see the Mayor taking this call seriously.
Shout out to @badvertising.bsky.social for the Southwark station campaign.

I don't care what a person looks like or whether they identify as Male/Female/Other. This is just divisive politics designed to stir up hatred & division.
Live & let live, but we MUST stop the hate.

Everyone needs to wee and poo every day.
Access to toilets should simply be a public health and accessibility issue and not dependent on other people’s views of how much you “look like” a man or a woman.
The EHRC has no clue about equalities and their priorities are shamefully discriminatory.
I should give a massive shout out to the work of @badvertising.bsky.social and @adfreecities.bsky.social and their awesome station “domination” at
Southwark.
Worth dropping by Southwark station (Jubilee line) to have a look and ponder why ads for fossil fuel products are still allowed?
Cities like Gothenburg already ban fossil fuel ads on public transport, it's time for London to follow suit.

Spoke with the Mayor today about banning adverts on the TfL network that promote fossil fuels and undermine his climate goals.
He’s now taking it to Government to push for updated advertising rules.

I met residents at this junction just last month to see how bad it is for walking and cycling: bsky.app/profile/caro....
They told me that TfL and Wandsworth Council have done nothing for three years to make it safer.
❓ will this junction still be the most dangerous in London in 12 months time.
📢 The most dangerous London junction for people cycling has been announced by @london_cycling.
🚲 For the third year in a row, it’s where Ansell Road, Lessingham Avenue and Derinton Road meet the CS7 on Upper Tooting Road.

Right next to Transport for London's head office, we are calling on Sadiq Khan to stop allowing polluting industries to promote their damaging products. 🧵 1/6
Mayor Sadiq Khan has overseen significant investment in sustainable public transport and cycling infrastructure.
Yet London's trams, trains, and buses continue to promote the very industries profiting from pollution. 4/5
Our country is in crisis. Bills are too high. People are being forced to live in mouldy, unaffordable homes. One in three kids is living in poverty.
The budget is this government's chance to turn things around: it's time to cut bills and tax billionaires.
