The lottery sucks because we are making it random as to which shitty/stupid team gets the reward. I was pissed that the Mavs lucked out last year as a "reward" for trading Luka. There are problems with every solution. I don't love the new CBA, but would like it better if we disincentivized tanking.

I think I'm ready for the wheel. That still gives teams hope while taking the incentive of tanking out of play. Tanking sucks for lots of reasons, but the one that really misses me off is that young players don't have a good developmental opportunity on teams trying to lose. That makes ball worse.

This is fun. We did it at Line Creek several years ago before we had kids. A guy I work with is part of the KC Curling Club and they have dedicated ice out in Blue Springs. I spend most of my time carting kids around to activities, but I would 100% curl if I had the time.

My 7 year old is smart as hell. I asked her if she knew who she was guarding the entire 1st half in her game last week and she shrugged her shoulders at me like I was asking her to figure out differential equations.

I can watch OKC because I have the Fanduel subscription to watch Royals. I don't think I can get Altitude Sports to watch the Nuggets even if I wanted to pay for it. It's asinine.

Also, it's fucking dumb that I can't watch the Thunder and Nuggets on League Pass when I live in Kansas City.

I've actually been fine with League Pass on Prime, but casuals don't have League Pass and it's not great that I need 3 subscriptions to watch the NBA. It sucks, because the basketball is actually good(except for some of the tanking shenanigans, but I don't need to watch a Jazz/Wizards game).

The kid is going to get a 3 day vacation. The kid who got punched is an attention seeking asshole and will continue to get punched. Unfortunately, that fucker is going to grow up to be the next Stephen Miller.

Kings fans deserve a medal or something else nice for sticking with that team. I wish we had the NBA in KC, but I'm not sure if I'm sad that the Kings left.

I want an NBA team in KC, but probably wouldn't do season tickets at first because I'd rather use that money to go to KU games. I worry about the fact that I'm the biggest NBA fan in my friend group(I have league pass) of a bunch of huge sports fans. I'm worried that we'd be midwest Hornets.

Took my 10 year old to his 1st game at AFH tonight. Now he's spoiled. That isn't getting topped. Easily one of the top 5 games I've been to in that building.

We are 2 days in and I already can't keep track of who is tucking and who is injecting. So much going on.

I'm a Chiefs fan and have celebrated a bunch of good SBs in the last few years. I'll be more hungover from celebrating on Monday than I have for any of the Chiefs wins. That would be such a fun night.

KU did a number on him tonight. Bidunga and Tiller have enough size to wall up and KU did a good job timing their doubles. Tech clearly missed Anderson. I'm a KU fan, but I doubt KU pulls that out if Anderson was playing.

You guys were gutsy tonight without Anderson. Neither team could really get in a rhythm. Hope KU sees you again in KC. The top part of this league is brutal.
