15.01.2026 17:44 — 👍 1004 🔁 570 💬 1 📌 10About this: This practice of churches providing groceries/supplies to immigrant families who are afraid to leave their homes out of fear of ICE is widespread, and widely reported.
What's different here is the *scale* of operations this one church is overseeing, and how public they are about it.
Aliya Rahman told ICE she was disabled
She told them she was on her way to a doctor appt
They broke her window, cut her seatbelt & dragged her away like an animal
She was headed to the Traumatic Brain Injury Center when they grabbed her.
She was denied access to a doctor & tossed in detention

A librarian who was given the directive has come forward asking for whistleblower protections.
Ur telling me what I'm saying is misinformation then straw-manning me with statements I don't disagree with. So idfk pal.
17.10.2025 06:36 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Please show me how this is misinformation? Studies on masks are all over the place in terms of quality, sometimes, but I've read dozens on efficacy. Yes, they do protect you, but not perfectly, and *less if you're immune compromised,* like *I am,* from LC, lol
17.10.2025 06:35 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Additionally, masks are only required in hospitals *if you are sick,* and are commonly worn in Asian countries when sick. Prior to the pandemic, I only saw masking when people were ill. It is not misinformation to say that people with more exposures masking is most effective for reducing sickness.
15.10.2025 14:40 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Masks didn't do a whole lot for omicron, and the data I've seen shows that a mask doesn't offer more than like 30% protection boost if you're around unmasked people with COVID. Less if immunocomp But a person with COVID masking is what will do the most to reduce the spread. Obv 2 way masking is best
15.10.2025 14:37 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0If others actually followed the science, they'd realize that masking is most effective when people who have more exposures wear masks. Masks are most effective at keeping *others* safe from *us,* and is less effective at protecting us from others. Esp if you're already immune compromised🙃
15.10.2025 10:03 — 👍 6 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0No.
Our mask requirement is not "virtue signalling".
It's protecting a) the cancer patient and b) the child who is still too small to wear a mask.
And also--and I can't emphasize this strongly enough--you.
Hilarious since right wingers have been openly wishing death upon other Americans

Technofascist social media CEOs are rich because they exploit culty behavior, misinformation, poor education & outrage generation. They're dismantling education because critical thinking skills threaten their power.
