Yesterday, my daughter used a handheld fishing net at the beach to actually catch a pufferfish. I've never seen anyone do that before. We released it a few minutes later.

Unexpected obstacle in the road on the way home today. Indrio Road, Fort Pierce, Florida. Many people don't realize that Florida is one of the largest cattle producing states in the US.

The local Aldi on the afternoon before Thanksgiving in an area of Florida visited by lots of Snowbirds. They are arriving this week. Every single heat-and-eat meal, dip, and package of lunch meat is gone. Most of the bread is gone, too.

I don't know why those other parents got so worked up at the kids' party yesterday. It's not like a four feet long alligator swam towards the kids. It was at least six feet long.

This morning it hit. I knew it would come and dreaded it. The kids played and sang a counting game, and it came, like Bloody Mary, but scarier.

He had a rough morning protecting me from the robot vacuum as I worked from home.

Those Lego kits are getting super-realistic.

I tried Chick-fil-A three times. Each time was in a different city. I will never go to one again. Each time the chicken I was served was raw in the center.

Kids caught 5 hermit crabs at the beach and saw several blue crabs. We forgot our net, so the blues scurried away uncaught.
